I have a new interiors crush this week having stumbled across the gorgeous website for Alexander White, with its equally gorgeous selection of properties, including this oh-so-chic apartment in Östermalm in central Stockholm. With its 3.5m high ceilings and tall windows, this apartment has a wonderfully elegant and restrained canvas – just look at those herringbone parquet floors – but the interior styling takes this home to another level.

I like the floating ceiling detail in the open plan kitchen, living and dining space, and there are luxe touches including the Carrara marble used on the worktop and splashback in the kitchen. The same finish appears as floor tiling in the bathroom, again adding a quietly luxurious edge against the contemporary fittings.
